DMND, a newly established mining pool centered around Stratum V2, has officially opened its doors to all miners for account creation. Interested miners are encouraged to register here to initiate the onboarding process.

The public launch of DMND follows a successful SOC 2 Type 2 audit, which confirms its adherence to stringent security policies essential for large-scale mining operations.

According to Alejandro De La Torre, Co-Founder and CEO of DMND, “With our SOC 2 Type 2 compliance and streamlined business verification practices, the DMND pool is designed for operators who prioritize security, transparency, and professional-grade standards. Additionally, by enabling miner-controlled block construction, we empower miners to regain meaningful control over the network.”

The inclusion of Stratum V2 support represents a significant advancement toward enhancing decentralization within the mining sector, specifically concerning block template construction—the process of selecting transactions to be included in the mined block.

Stratum V2 introduces a mechanism to bolster Bitcoin’s censorship resistance, allowing individual miners to generate their own block templates while utilizing supporting pools, as well as accessing templates from any third-party provider operating with Stratum V2. Furthermore, Stratum V2’s end-to-end encryption mitigates the risk of hashrate hijacking attacks that can covertly diminish a miner’s revenue.

The public launch of DMND marks an important milestone for miners in terms of advancing Stratum V2 within the network and contributing to the broader goal of enhancing decentralization in the mining ecosystem.
