The statement comes together with a tactical collaboration with distinguished financial expert Dr. Saifedean Ammous to establish an Austrian economics curriculum for trainees.
The independent co-educational day and boarding school, currently referred to as the very first worldwide to accept Bitcoin for tuition, is now using 21 two-year boarding scholarships and 21 two-year day scholarships—totally covering the school’s distinguished International Baccalaureate (IB) program. Each scholarship is developed to empower trainees with an enthusiasm for economics, development, and crucial thinking, despite their background.
“The response from the Bitscoins.netmunity since announcing our acceptance of Bitcoin for fees has been phenomenal,” stated Claire Chisholm, Principal of Lomond School, throughout a look on Jordan Walker’s Bitcoin Collective Podcast. “The scholarship programme seemed like the natural next step. With Dr. Ammous backing our curriculum and the introduction of our scholarship programme, I invite committed supporters to join us as benefactors and help shape the next generation of economic thinkers.”
Beyond scholarships, the school is also releasing a new economics curriculum in cooperation with Dr. Ammous, best referred to as the author of The Bitcoin Standard. The effort will stress Austrian economics, sound cash, and the principles of monetary liberty.
“The future of freedom and prosperity depends on the next generation understanding sound economics,” stated Dr. Ammous. “With this partnership, we aim to plant the seeds of long-term thinking and financial literacy early in life. I am delighted to work with Lomond School on this incredibly exciting project.”
The curriculum will match Lomond’s currently progressive knowing design, with hands-on Bitcoin combination. Students will check out decentralized financing concepts, communicate with Bitcoin mining hardware contributed to the school, and gain useful understanding of financial systems beyond the standard class.
Lomond School stated it is actively looking for 43 starting benefactors—one for each scholarship and the flagship sponsor bundle. As Chisholm put it: “Be one of the 43 to shape the future — where education meets innovation, and where Austrian economics takes root in the classroom. Help us change the world from Helensburgh.” Those interested can find out more or reveal interest by getting in touch with [email protected].
