The Bitcoin for Financial Services Summit (BFFS26) is set to return to Denver from October 20 to 22, 2026. This premier event will convene CPAs, wealth advisors, attorneys, lenders, and other finance professionals who are integrating Bitcoin into their practices. Now in its second year, the summit has expanded significantly, featuring over 30 sessions across two comprehensive program days, showcasing a speaker lineup that includes leaders in Bitcoin custody, credit, and advisory services.
Keynote speakers include Joseph Kelly, CEO and co-founder of Unchained, who will commence the summit with a discussion on custody, credit, and trust at scale. Alan Lane, former CEO of Silvergate Bank, will provide valuable insights on the intersection of Bitcoin and banking. Other notable speakers include Patrick Lowry, CEO of Samara Asset Group, who will address the implications of holding Bitcoin as a treasury reserve for public companies, and Colin Crossman, Wyoming’s Deputy Secretary of State, who will present the regulatory outlook for banks, exchanges, and advisors. Additional contributors to the program are Kate Goldman from Anchorage Digital, Sam Baker of River, Eric Yakes from Epoch Ventures, Daniel Hillery of UTXO Management, Moish Peltz of Falcon Rappaport & Berkman, and CJ Konstantinos of Peoples Reserve.
The sessions will emphasize the practical applications of Bitcoin, covering topics such as its integration into wealth planning and family offices, Bitcoin-backed lending and mortgages, treasury accounting and valuation, retirement and income planning, charitable giving strategies, the potential of mining as an asset class, and the fiduciary responsibilities when clients hold Bitcoin. There will also be dedicated workshops offering continuing education credits for financial advisors and CPAs.
As Jordan Guess, CPA and co-host of the summit, indicated in a press release, “Last year proved that financial professionals seek more than just a Bitcoin primer; they desire to understand how to effectively serve clients who already own it. This year’s program is meticulously designed to address the questions that advisors and accountants are receiving from clients, and will feature insights from those actively building the necessary infrastructure.”
The summit will commence on Tuesday, October 20, with the Better Money Invitational golf tournament at City Park Golf Course, hosted in partnership with Bitcoin Sports Network. This will be followed by a welcome party at The Space, sponsored by Falcon Rappaport & Berkman. Evening events will include wine and whiskey tastings, and participants can choose to begin Thursday with an optional sunrise hike in the Rocky Mountains.
BFFS26 is co-hosted by Jordan Guess and Wyatt O’Rourke of BFFS Media, producers of the Bitcoin for Financial Services podcast. Sponsors of the event include Unchained, Anchorage Digital, UTXO Management, River, SOUND HSA, SustainHash, and Stormrake.
