This development occurs as public companies seek to enhance their exposure to Bitcoin through various financial products. The original Bitcoin treasury Strategy, which offers five different preferred stocks, recently suggested the implementation of daily dividends for its offerings.
“The successful, upsized IPO of SATS signifies a pivotal achievement in our initiative to optimize long-term total returns for our common equity investors,” stated Matt Cole, Chairman and CEO of Strive.
In addition to SATS, Strive also offers another preferred stock known as SATA, which provides a variable dividend.
Having officially entered the market as a Bitcoin treasury last year, Strive has now positioned itself as the fourth largest entity in this sector.
Founded by former Ohio gubernatorial candidate and technology entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, the company currently holds 36,818 BTC valued at over $3 billion under current pricing. Recently, the company announced the acquisition of an additional 4,045 BTC from October 12 to 16.
In January 2026, Strive completed an all-stock acquisition of Semler Scientific, marking the first instance of a publicly traded Bitcoin treasury company acquiring another in the same sphere.
As with other digital asset treasuries, Strive’s approach allows investors to potentially achieve amplified returns from its stock. The company actively procures Bitcoin using equity while maintaining a debt-free balance sheet, devoid of bonds, credit lines, or leveraged positions that could provoke forced liquidation during market downturns.
Strive follows the model established by the software company Strategy, which commenced its Bitcoin investments in 2020. Strategy has since become the largest corporate holder of Bitcoin, amassing 848,517 coins valued at over $60 billion.
Among its five preferred stocks, Strategy offers STRF, STRC, STRK, STRD, and STRE.
On Tuesday, Strive’s stock, ASST, experienced a trading increase of 4%.
